The OWSD Cuba National Chapter was one of the first National Chapters founded in 1999 and was based at the Cuban Academy of Sciences in Havana. The chapter was re-established in 2024 and it aims to develop projects and programmes for women in science and to strengthen collaboration with other OWSD chapters in the LAC region.
