Biotechnology is the field that exploits living organisms to make technological advance in various field for the sustainable. It has applications in the medical as well as agriculture sectors. my study focused to introduce beneficial bacteria to control Striga hermonthica that belong to parasitic weed which deadly pest for major cash crops. The biological control approaches to combat parasitic weed is highly recommended as it considered as one of environmentally friendly methods for management pests

Current profession
Current professional activities type:ResearchBiological control parasitic weeds. Our research group exploring the biomarker molecules from microorganism to use as inhibitors or stimulate suicidal germination of parasitic weed and formulating bio-herbicide and bio-fertilizer for management, these activities belong to project of developing for countermeasure against Striga to conquer poverty and improve food security
