Current Research Activities
Engineering sciences
My current research is focused on developing a data-driven geo-spatial methodology to forecast the energy demand of rural households in developing countries to support the planning and desing of electrification projects. My research interests include: - Energy demand modelling applying hybrid approaches (bottom-up and top-down) - Stochastic modelling of human behavior - Energy transition paths in developing countries - Optimal planning, design and operation of off-grid renewable energy systems
