Current professional activities type:Higher Education Study• Conducting Quality Assurance and Quality Control tests in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine • Carrying out daily Consistency tests of Dose Calibrator and Radiation Survey of Nuclear Medicine suite • Coaching Medical Physics to Radiographers and radiation technologist • Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards. • Maintain records of all QC procedures conducted, and discuss the results with the departmental head at regular intervals. • Assisting the radiation protection officer (RPO) in the revision of the radiation safety plan and radioactive waste management program of Hospital • Maintain record of preventive maintenance along with repair and services carried out on equipment in the department. • Act as a liaison with the PAEC for the film badge service to the hospital and maintaining a record of personnel doses. • To take effective measures minimizing radiation hazards to the staff of the department and hospital. • Maintain inventory of shielded/unshielded source. • Obtain the No Objection certificate/License of Radiation facility for Hospital/Department.
