L'ORÉAL-UNESCO National and Regional Programs for Women in Science
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, created by Law 2162 of 2021 as the governing body for technology and innovation in Colombia, together with the Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad-ICETEX and the Executive Secretariat of the National Commission for UNESCO Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, decided to join the initiative of L'Oreal Colombia SAS, managing to grant since 2016, the awards to women scientists as a contribution of the alliance between the entities, aimed at encouraging the participation of women in science, specifically, regarding their role as research leaders.
