I led two studies in Palestine, the first one investigated Dental Health Behaviours among Students. I have noticed the lack of data about the use of interdental cleaning in Palestine. The second research was through the COVID-19 lockdown, which evaluated the impact of lockdown on mental health during the pandemic. This study gave insights into psychological distress among students and enabled to plan of interventions to support students’ mental health in their clinical training and e-learning process.
Publications resulting from Research:
Recently, one of the research papers which assessed the mental health of students during the pandemic was added to the global literature of COVID-19 in the World Health Organization. Being the one who gathered a team that contributed to global history, I believe that the exceptional paths bring exceptional glories.
I have been conditionally selected for Chevening Scholarship awardee for the year 2021/2022. Being selected from 600 applicants after the interviews shows the dedication and the unique personality that I have for more than 10 years of hard work.
