Covid 19: finding the genetic signature of the virus to develop treatments that target genes. Cancer: use of organoids to create a technology that contributes to treating cancer in a customized way depending on each patient. BMP signaling: proliferation and differentiation of stem cells into different cell lineages through different combinations of BMP. Gut microbiome: use of micro organoids to imitate the conditions of the intestine and how it reacts with different pathogenic bacteria during infection. Evaluation of gene expression. Epigenetics: organophosphates, Ebola, Anthrax, MRSA, influenza (RNA libraries and sequencing).
