Scientific evaluation of traditional African medicinal plants used in the treatment and management of diabetes, sickle cell anemia and trypanosomiasis/malaria. Phytochemical analysis. Biochemical and toxicity studies of these plants. Research directed towardsproviding cheaper alternative source of health care to local population who cannot afford high cost of mainstream medicine.
