Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for The Future Fellowship Award
The fellowships are awarded to outstanding, talented women from developing and emerging countries to pursue PhD and Postdoctoral studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at leading universities worldwide. The Schlumberger Foundation is a non-profit entity that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. Recognizing the link between science, technology, and socioeconomic development, as well as the key role of education in realizing individual potential, the Schlumberger Foundation flagship programme is Faculty for the Future. The program also has an extended mission to encourage community building through in-person forums, with the objective to create an international community of women leaders who will support scientific development and act as change agents in their home countries.

National Universities Commision Best Thesis Award For Physical sciences
Nigerian Universities Doctoral Thesis (NUDTAS) Award for 2011 in Physical sciences. My doctoral thesis was adjudged "Best PhD thesis in Physical Sciences within the Nigerian University System during 2011", Physical Sciences comprising theses from Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics and Chemistry. . The presentation ceremony was in 2013. NUDTAS was designed for the purpose of "identifying and rewarding outstanding PhD theses in Nigerian universities." On a broader note, the scheme was also intended to "arouse stronger interest in research work, stimulate scholarship, academic excellence and create a healthy competition among Nigerian doctoral candidates and academic staff."

Royal Society of Chemistry Research Fund Grant
The grant is normally given to RSC members to be used for the purchase of equipment (glassware, computer software, etc.) and chemicals. The Fund is designed for use by the applicant for his or her personal research; the main body of work must be undertaken by the applicant themselves. Strong preference is given to those working in less well-endowed institutions. Applicants from developing countries and early career researchers are encouraged.
