I am currently conducting research in: 1. Phytobiomolecules that could be used to treat non-communicable diseases especially cancers in humans. 2. Neglected food species with both nutritional and pharmaceutical properties and their ability to meet the RDAs of vulnerable groups (Pregnant women, school-going children below 12 years, People living with HIV/AIDs, and the elderly). 3. Phytogenic feed additives that could be used to replace conventional antibiotics due to AMR in Chicken. 4. Assessing levels of water contamination in rivers and lakes due to human and animal activities. 5. Development of Keratin-based nanofilters.

I am a permanent Faculty at the Department of Plant Sciences, Microbiology and Biotechnology, School of Biosciences, College of Natural Sciences, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. I am actively involved in Teaching (Undergraduate and Postgraduate students), Research, Undergraduate and Postgraduate research supervision, and Community engagement. I am skilled and have developed different natural products which include: Tinctures, Herbal teas, Herbal vaselines, Herbal creams, Herbal soaps, Herbal shampoos, and Liquid herbal detergents to mention.
