Design, preparation, characterization and evaluation of nanodevices for the colorimetric sensing of neurotransmitters and controlled delivery systems responsive to neurotransmitters, based on gold nanoparticles and mesoporous silica nanoparticles equipped with organic ligands, enzymatic effectors, molecular gates and chromo-fluorogenic species or drugs.
