Basic molecular biology techniques including preparing, handling, and storing DNA. 2. PCR, including real-time PCR, methods and applications. 3. Bioinformatic analysis of molecular and genomic data, particularly the exploitation of web-based tools.Feb 2011European Molecular Biology Organization Pre-doctoral Fellowship Grant at the Institute for Medical Microbiology, University Hospital Münster Germany.A pre-doctoral award to carry out molecular characterization of 300 S. aureus isolates collected from Nigeria. This research fellowship was supported by the European Molecular Biology Organization and the DFG-funded German-African cooperation on S. aureus and staphylococcal diseases.
